Liked: Judith and Doc were lovely and so welcoming. Absolutely beautiful old home in SOBO! (South Broadway) Lively late night neighborhood, but quiet sleep in a comfy bed. Will definitely be back!

Liked: Our hosts were delightful, kind, and helpful. They were attentive without being intrusive, interesting and interested; wonderful conversationalists!The location was perfect for us - an easy walk to lots of great restaurants and interesting shops.It was nice to have a spot to park our rental car!
Disliked: Hmmm... The house is incredible, with tremendous potential. The challenge for us was a feeling of being in someone else's well-lived-in home; the "public" spaces - living room, outdoor "patio" - were messy and cluttered with personal effects, which did not feel inviting. The whole house needed a thorough, deep cleaning. In this day and age, with most travelers needing to charge a device or two, the lack of outlets in the bedroom (old house, no surprise) was challenging. An easy fix would be to include one or two power strips. In the shared bathroom, the shower curtain was dirty (a new, plastic liner is a cheap and easy fix and would do wonders for guests' comfort), and there was no place to put anything down, even a toothbrush; a small table or shelf would have been super helpful.

Liked: Location was very convenient with lots of cool stuff nearby. The bath robes were a nice touch. And the shower pressure was amazing!! The hosts were lovely and helpful.

Liked: Host was very friendly.
Disliked: We walked in to the house to a very strong unpleasant odor. The home was very cluttered and did not seem clean.The upstairs smell was not as strong, but definitely unpleasant. The carpet needed to be replaced. We decided not to stay because we could not handle the smell overnight.
