A lovely, traditional hotel with...

Liked: It was lovely to have fresh coffee for breakfast - also the fresh fruit and pastries were good. We loved the pools in the spa and the general ambience there with coffee and water etc. My bed (in Timothy) was very comfortable and the Walter room was really nice with an excellent bathroom.
Disliked: It was very hot in the spa but the pool water, in contrast, was decidedly chilly! The treatments were good but very expensive. My room (Timothy) was a little cramped, and there wasn't a good shower.

Lovely spa, good location

Liked: Spa is lovely, well equipped and the treatments are great, if pricy. Hotel beds are very comfortable, decor is nice, and the bathrooms are good with great showers and nice products. Hotel is a stone's throw from the village and an amazing Argentinian restaurant - Pampas - for dinner. Staff were accommodating in changing bedding to non feathers when I asked.
Disliked: Food is ok but nothing special. Bedrooms very dark with poor lightning. Wifi didn't work and tv reception is very poor.

Excellent spa hotel.

Liked: Lovely spa with clean, modern facilities, indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, good fun on a cold sunny March morning. Excellent massage. Friendly staff. Older rooms had character, modern rooms were nicely done, pleasant drawing room to sit and have a drink in, overall an excellent hotel for a comfortable short break.

Liked: Quaint hotel… decor a little dated, but beautiful view from our room, quiet, bed nice size. Nice big bath ! Decent breakfast. Courteous and attentive staff . Local 2 restaurants are fabulous. Spa was nice , with lots of areas to enjoy
Disliked: Room was too hot for me even with radiator off, dinner was very expensive so we ate out. Treatments at the spa were very expensive so didn’t book anything… which was a great shame.
