Fantastic place for a relaxing...

Liked: We very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel is cozy and charming, and our room was absolutely delightful and very quiet. We didn't dine in, but the breakfast was very good with lots of options. The spa is great and the fact that we could use it until 2pm on the day of our check out was ideal. Can definitely recommend this place

Lovely hosts in a lovely...

Liked: We stayed in the older part of the property, which was beautiful and perfect for the setting. Everything also felt very clean and it was a comfortable stay. Staff were very warm and friendly. I also received a treatment on Sunday. This was wonderful and worth the money in my view. The indoor to outdoor pool was a great feature.
Disliked: There was a power cut during our stay due to a storm. I know this could not be helped, but it meant our spa time on Saturday was cut short (the spa being the main reason for the stay), and prevented us from watching a little tv while we got ready for dinner. For the cost of the one night we were staying, this was unlucky. The food in the restaurant was fairly good, but perhaps slightly overpriced.

Nice location and spa but...

Liked: We had a room in the spa building, these are lovely light spacious rooms with easy access to the pool area.
Disliked: The spa is not well maintained by staff through the day, by late afternoon it was littered with empty cups and used towels.Breakfast on the second day was not a relaxing time. We arrived in good time but it was more than 10 minutes before our order was taken then another (at least) 15-20 for my husbands cooked breakfast to arrive. 4 minutes later the staff were pressuring him to grab anything else he wanted and noisily clearing up around us. If they are busy they need to either get enough staff to maintain the service or allow people who have waited so long to finish their meal in a civilised fashion.
