Beautiful, quiet, dog-friendly haven on...

Liked: The location and amenities were fantastic, we walked across the street or under the bridge to the beach paths every day. The firepits were great and the staff gave us roasting sticks to use and sold s'mores kits. The fireplace in our room as perfect for the drizzly weather and they also provided plenty of firewood. We spent a little time in the game room but it was fun playing shuffleboard. The clawfoot tub was amazing and pretty much why I booked the stay, but the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very dog friendly, our pup had a great stay and loved all the green grass. It seemed very sound proof too, we couldn't hear any of our neighbors if we had any.
Disliked: The only setback was the lack of hand soap, and there wasn't any at the front desk either. Not specific to this place but just wish hotels had some streaming options to the tv's since it was only cable. But the wifi was fast so we just streamed to the laptop when we wanted to watch something.

Liked: The room is awesome.
Disliked: Due to the housekeeper's negligence, the hotel didn't offer the red blanket. Therefore I had a roughly cold night. When I checked out, the front desk said they could give me 25% discount, I insist 50%. Nevertheless, until now, I didn't receive any refund or message. As a good hotel, it's not appropriate to cheat customer like this!!

Liked: The location is amazing since it is right across the street from the state park and easy to access the boardwalk along the water. Also, there are green spaces and hangout areas throughout the resort. I liked that there were lots of places to be outside. Also, we had a room with a fireplace and it came equipped with a fire bag that was so simple and easy to use—that was convenient and a lovely touch). The heater in the bathroom was nice, too, since it was pretty chilly at night.
Disliked: The rooms were smallish and plainly furnished but they had everything we needed. The bathrooms were smaller, too, and we didn’t love the upcharges for late checkouts and other amenities.

Liked: The accommodations were great, including the shower.
Disliked: The small wall heater in Room 132 could not keep up very well.

It was a nice getaway...

Liked: Away from hustle and bustle but close enough to town.
Disliked: Security of bathroom window.
