Liked: This hotel was the perfect location to visit LaRochelle and had a fantastic vibe! We would highly recommend this hotel! Clean, comfortable, friendly, and a great breakfast! It makes an excellent choice for your stay!

If we return to Nantes...

Liked: We stayed at the 4 star Oceania in Nantes for just one night and wish we had booked it for the two nights we had spent the week before at the supposed 4 star Novotel on the Loire which is more like 3 star maximum there! No comparison with the Oceania which was fresh, clean, characterful being a converted stableyard and home to the owner ( Graslin) in the 18th century after whom the Place Graslin is named . Halle de Pommeraye and shopping street of rue Crebillon leading down to the place Royale, literally out of the arched enclosed courtyard entrance and excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk like la Cigale !

A highly recommendable stay.

Liked: The hotel was centrally located, with its own secure car park. Although it didn’t have its own restaurant there were many good ones to choose close by. The staff couldn’t have been more welcome and the whole experience was very enjoyable.
Disliked: Nothing.
