Cozy home away from home

Liked: It’s a basic property. I’m not paying extra for amenities and frills I’ll never make use of. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the front desk staff are great, makes me feel like they really value my business
Disliked: I wish I didn’t have to pay a cash deposit when I checked in

Disliked: Water dripped from ceiling right above toilet. Netting on balcony railing inhibited good ocean view. You could peer over the railing and see a swimming pool with putred green water with floating trash and debris - thoroughly disgusting! One morning, we were awakened by an awkward squeaking sound coming from somewhere around the stove - it sounded like some sort of pest. The noise stopped when I tapped on the wall. Coating on the bathtub was flaking.

Disliked: Room smelled like mildew and hotel is infected with roaches. Had to change hotels after the first night. Would like a full refund

Worst Stay Ever

Liked: The location is great that's all I can say I liked. There is nothing more I can add to this sorry. They need to pull up that nasty carpet and update them rooms.
Disliked: I didn't care for anything, the rooms smelled, there were roaches everywhere including on our pillows and I had to be moved 2 times. My final straw was between fighting with roaches in the bathroom and 2 roaches crawling on my pillow. I didn't bring roaches there and I didn't want to take them home so we left and checked into a different hotel and I requested a full refund from the Viking.
