Nice staff but room was...

Liked: The location and access to the beach. The refrigerator available was good and large space in the suite.
Disliked: The room had a moldy and damp smell. The fit and finish in the rooms were bad with lots of gaps due to lack of upkeep,

Exceptional

Liked: Spent two nights and it was wonderful. Everyone made our stay very comfortable.
Disliked: There is nothing that we didn't like.

Relaxing

Liked: Staff, restaurant, great beds and comforters, lovely room, location and view.

Wonderful location.

Liked: Ocean Crest is in a stunning location overlooking the ocean. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely deck overlooking the beach and waves. Dinner in the dining room is excellent with a varied choice on the menu. We wished the restaurant served meals during the day - especially breakfast. Maybe more staff would alleviate these lroblems.

Unexpected disappointment

Liked: It was right on the ocean with the cutest stair path to the water and fireplace right in the room
Disliked: The room felt warped. The doors fell open when you opened them and we felt like we were at a slight lean. The amenities that were part of the reason I booked here weren’t even available. I was so disappointed, and there was no indication of this while I was booking.

Superb

beautiful but way out there

Liked: this gorgeous hideaway has all the retro vibes I love in a hotel, the foggy trees muffled all sound and the bed has been leveled so I slept well, the tilted floor nudged me out onto the balcony and an early morning walk on the beach was just what I needed to start the day right
Disliked: they called me to warn me that the spa would be closed for repairs during my visit which was very thoughtful, a heads up that the restaurant would also be closed would have been nice especially considering the lack of options in the area
