Disliked: his is a former Holiday Inn where we have stayed a number of times before it was taken over by the chain Ocean Breeze Inns. We thought the older holiday Inn would be upgraded but soon we realized that nothing had changed. The room looks old and worn, the furniture is old with scratches and paint missing, the mattresses are sagging and don't smell right. The bathroom could use a good scrubbing and a lick of paint. Just because the hotel is "on the beach" doesn't justify the very high price we paid, which was for a room in one of the adjacent buildings. $270 a night + tax is a steep price for a room without a view, a nasty smell and worn furniture, saggy mattresses and sad bathroom.

Liked: Amazing location directly at the beach. Beds are comfortable, only the furnitures are a bit older. Great breakfast/lunch possible iliries next door at the beach. Pool heated which was a huge plus.
Disliked: Some chairs at the beach would be a great idea.

Liked: This worked for what I needed.
Disliked: Bathroom had mold, black mold, in the shower. Coffee pot did not work New coffee machine was "Crusty" inside, yes inside the water holder, and my Wife spent a hour scraping and cleaning it out. Second room we had - the HEAT did not work the first night.

Liked: The view from the room was beautiful
Disliked: When I got to the property my heater didn’t work so I slept without heater that night and it was very cold, but the next day they fixed it. The room coffee machine was dirty. My bathroom sink wasn’t working either. They never turned the fire pit on for us.

Liked: Front desk coffee and tea and sometimes water was great! And location was wonderful.
Disliked: Noise of one of the workers car in the lot..they would rev engines early in the morning and wake us up every day.
