What!!... An amazing hotel? Well,...

Liked: The staff were exemplary, I am disabled, when my mobility scooter broke, as we came down by train, this was my only means of getting back to my home in Oxford. Not only were they extremely kind and helpful, but I was also able to book another night without any issues, as I was having a meltdown, the staff realized I needed help, as I'm autistic. There kindness, in comforting me, listening to me and making adjustments to the extra night, diffusing my stress levels, until help could come was exceptional. The staff were extremely professional. The manager, Tracey, was just wonderful, making sure I was alright. As a member of the Disabled and Neuro-diverse community, I have nothing but praise for this whole hotel. They were just fantastic, I was overwhelmed by the kindness and help. Truly, this hotel is the best out of the 3 here in Bournemouth. Sorry. Suncliff and Cumberland. So now to the room, we were upgraded at no extra cost, a nice surprise for our stay for a birthday treat.
Disliked: The pool wasn't open. However, we did go in March, and that's fair enough, as it is an outside pool. However, you can have use of the Sister Hotel, the pool its indoors so bonus.

Disliked: Shower door had completely came off and lights not working in the room. Reported to reception before our trip out for the day but wasn’t fixed upon return. I had to shower once I’d got home. Rather than hold the door up whilst trying to shower

Liked: The room view was impeccable.
Disliked: The cleanliness could’ve been better, there was a lozenger sweet stuck to the carpet under the desk and bits of rubbish under the bed. Also other hotel users were keeping me and my partner up till 5:00 in the morning smoking as the smell was in the hallway coming through under the door in our room.

Pleasant

Liked: Room was clean, if a little shabby - but perfectly acceptable.Staff were nice, everything worked ok. The heating in the room wasn't on a thermostat so had to be controlled via the radiator and windows. Bed was ok, fine for 1 night
Disliked: bed could have been more comfortable, the bathroom needed a lot of TLC
