Good

Lovely family getaway.

Liked: Breakfast, pool, gym excellent. The room was fine - a little bit tired and there was not much crockery.
Disliked: Bathrooms are a bit dated now.

Wonderful will be back

Liked: The staff were amazing, guests next to us not so much staff rang us saying they had a noise complaint at 9pm in holidays laughing too loud apparently according to our neighbours. Staff were lovely about it Though, we proceeded inside shut out the noise. Shuttle service was amazing breakfast was great as well. 10/10 for food and staff.
Disliked: Our neighbours complaining we were laughing too loud at 9:30pm not staffs fault though can't fault the resort itself

Liked: Friendly staff, great buffet breakfast, good food and drinks, comfy rooms, close to amazing wineries
Disliked: 2 things: first the outdoor pool which was supposed to be heated as we chose this resort for our 2 year old son for the heated pool. It was freezing and as a result, most of the people had to use the small spa near the main pool. It was extremely crowded and we had very little time in the pool area which was disappointing.Second thing: the retreat in the same facility. We went up to the retreat to get some information and our 2 year old old son was with us. As soon as the staff saw us, they didn’t even say hi, they were trying to make sure that we were leaving the property immediately. We tried to explain them that we were staying down in the lakes resort and just came here to get some information for one of us (as an adult) to use the retreat. They kept telling us that this is an adult only facility, no kids are allowed and we needed to get out now. It was very rude and we felt discriminated just because we had a little toddler who was just sitting in his pram and looking around, not even naughty at all. We were planning to book a weekend gateway in the retreat without our son but we will never come back again! So rude and unkind behaviour.
