Featuring ultra-chic interiors and private grounds Number Sixteen offers glamorous accommodations in cosmopolitan South Kensington. The Victorian property provides 24-hour room service minibars and iPod docking stations in the rooms. Each individually styled room reflects the contemporary design of the hotel with luxurious fabrics and furnishings and hints of bold color. All rooms at Number Sixteen are air-conditioned and feature flat-screen satellite TV. Some rooms have French windows leading onto a small balcony. Afternoon tea is served all day at the hotel and can be enjoyed on the grounds conservatory drawing room or library. Guests have a number of public rooms within the hotel in which to relax after a day outside in bustling London. South Kensington Underground Station is a 3 minute walk away and is surrounded by bars shops and restaurants. On the Picadilly Circle and District lines the hotel is close to Underground services to many parts of the city.

Noisy luxury basement

Liked: Stayed before. Location
Disliked: Luxury room was booked. Put in the basement which I immediately said I didn’t like to which the response was “well make a note for your next stay”. A bit assumption. Noisy ceiling all night and from 5am , workmen outside the window twice(remember basement). Stayed with the group before but not sure 400 GBP spent was valid

Exceptional

Liked: It’s quaint, cozy and elegant. Loved how calm and cozy it is. The staff are great and friendly, the amenities are perfect with personal touches. The room is perfectly clean and taken care of. If you’re looking for a quiet and quaint place this is the place to go. The South Kensington station is so close, and there are plenty of shops around the corner. The breakfast was amazing too.
Disliked: The bathroom is a bit of a squeeze but I guess not much of a difference from other London places. My room was in the top floor, and the elevator doesn’t reach there, the staff were great and carried the luggage all the way up and all the way down though.
