Liked: The concept and location.
Disliked: Having booked a Deluxe Room in a five-star hotel, we didn’t expect it to be on the lower ground floor. This is something that should be clearly indicated.Additionally, there were spiders in the room. Even after a thorough cleaning, they reappeared—a real issue for anyone with a phobia.When standard five-star amenities are lacking (such as a gym), the rest of the experience should be impeccable. However, room gratuities were minimal; the air conditioning barely cooled the room and was noisy even when turned off; children’s channels had blurry images; bread was not readily available at the breakfast buffet and had to be requested (when available); there was no luggage rack in the room; housekeeping storage next door caused early morning disturbances; and so on.As a consequence, the journey was not really comfortable. Definitely not a 5 stars hotel, but an expensive 4 stars.
