Liked: We know the hotel well as we have stayed many times and particulary like the convenience of the underground parking.
Disliked: There was no receptionist. Hotel was closed. The elevator did not work. This is particularly difficult to bring our luggage up to the hotel from the basement on a steep winding pathway. We waited for hours to get into the hotel. We phoned the hotel from outside but no answer.We went to another nearby hotel Eisenhof which was previously a sister hotel to get assistance. The receptionist was kind and explained they no longer had connection with Freiraum, but phoned twice to Freiraum but got no reply. We returned to Freiraum and incidentally met another guest who had access. He explained there was a telephone number we could phone to another hotel who explained we could get a code number for our room.We actually stayed in the same room as on a previous visit. They asked us to write down anything not in order with the room. We told them previously a light bulb needed changing. It still did not work.
