Perfect location

Liked: - Perfect location- Excellent swimming pool- Good sized executive room- Friendly staff- Good quality breakfast
Disliked: - Very hot rooms: temperature control ineffective; open windows helped with the heat, but the trade-off for that was a lot of noise coming in from the street- Carpet in the room needs deep clean or refresh- Very good quality breakfast but took a while for the staff to top up/replenish the hot buffet- The restaurant is very poor value for money (the mark-up on wines is something else!) but you have a lot of alternatives in very close proximity to the hotel- Shower gel bottle empty in the bathroom

I would not stay here...

Liked: Friendly staff, good location
Disliked: Facilities are very old and in need of updating. Elevator out of service. Had to get my room key re-coded 8 times in 4 days because it just never worked.

Disliked: Stains on the carpet, sofa and window nets, hand towel had something on it. Parking on site at an extra £20 or park nearby for half the price

Fantastic

Liked: Fantastic location, bar, staff, room and facilities. Really enjoyed the swimming pool and steam room. Bar a bit pricy but it is a hotel in the city centre.

Exceptional

Liked: The room offered enough space, good beds - the sleeping comfort was really good. The breakfast was good and offered also enough options for a vegetarian/vegan diet.

apart from the above issues...

Liked: Staff were pleasant on arrival and courteous
Disliked: brown stain marks on the white curtains in the bedroom this could have been cleaned prior to us checking in and being allocated the room drink stains on the wall above the sofa bed headboard room keys not working to get into the room despite us keeping the room keys separate from any mobile phones or magnetic devices, reception swapped out a key but the repetition of this when you are on the 7th floor isn't great

Great stay, definitely recommend

Liked: We arrived, after a long day in London, to be met by two friendly and helpful receptionists. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. Look forward to staying with you again in the future
Disliked: We wanted to start our stay a night earlier but the price quoted for the extra night was as much as we paid for the two nights.
