Ok
Liked: Everytime someone would shut a door to their room our room would shake. Also wasn’t happy with the music going from across the road till early hours of the morning. Not much sleep had in our room due to these reasons.

A good place to stay...
Liked: The location in centre of Perth. Walking distance to all the stores etc. Comfortable and spacious room.
Disliked: The parking. They have to move the car to other parking space. Need to call them when we want to use the car.

Passable
Liked: Very clean and location was good, but beds are on wheels and move around, and the A/C is very loud, no way to make it softer. They do not sell still water.

Great location - ideal for...
Liked: Good location. Check in was easy and seamless. Room was clean. Bed was great. Check out simple.
Disliked: Floor in bathroom needs a good scrub - grout dirty. We were disappointed that the bar closed so early in a Saturday night. We were looking to have a drink and wind down after a concert and they closed at 10pm. Tables in the bar were cleared but not wiped down earlier in the day.

It will do if you...
Liked: The central location and access to walkable destinations like Murray and Hay Street Malls. The room was nice and dark meaning you could actually sleep past dawn. We had a double room and there is just enough space to walk around if you ensure you put everything away in the closet and storage spaces. The bathroom was nice, good hot water (not a lot of pressure though). Very basic tea/coffee facilities. No mini bar. OK iron. Good hairdryer. TV was great quality. View of a building next door. No balcony or opening windows.I asked for something nice to be arranged for the room on arrival for our anniversary. Although it wasn't there when we checked in at 1pm (early check-in was arranged too), it was there when we returned at 4.30pm, which was a nice plate of cake/macaroons with a chocolate plaque that said Happy Anniversary, and some lolly snakes and jelly beans for my 9yr old.
Disliked: The food was awful. Going for our anniversary my husband booked the restaurant in advance. Even supplying a photograph of himself so he could be "greeted by name". As we both have dietary requirements he booked the "Choose Mi" option. Unfortunately, they did not recognise him on arrival, instead greeted him with "Do you have a booking?". Once seated we were given menus. He enquired why as he had pre-arranged a meal for us as it was our anniversary dinner. After 10 minutes of going back and forth with different servers, we were finally told that none of the arrangements had been made, and due to his allergies, there were only two things he could order off the menu. For me, one. Unapologetically the server suggested we go somewhere else for dinner, which we did. Breakfast the next morning was disappointing. Arriving at 8am, they had already run out of a variety of foods, like Danish, which they said they weren't topping up. We assumed there would be a full western cooked breakfast available, but there were no beans, no sausage, no mushrooms. Tomatoes were par-cooked and soggy; hash browns were soaked in oil and fell apart as if there was no potato actually in them. Asking the chef if there would be something different the next day he said yes, it changes daily. The next morning, hoping for better, we were met with the same food, except the hash browns, which were wedges. The food was extremely poor considering the venue. I have eaten better breakfasts at a roadhouse. I told the staff and they said they'll let management know. The venue overall - the pictures online must be from when the hotel was first renovated. The lobby is fine but the pool area is grotty. All the furniture has grime and stains and is rusty and unkempt. The pool itself was ok. Hall walls worn, cracked and dirty. Everywhere had food trays and glasses left lying around: from the roof top and every floor we stopped on. The beds are hard, pillows lumpy.

Disappointing
Liked: I was placed in a second floor room, two days in a row staff walk directly in front of my window peering into my room. Some warning that staff would be there would be appreciated. It was a little intrusive to be honest
