Great location but disappointing experience

Liked: The location was great and staff welcoming.
Disliked: We paid for 3 nights parking but one of the vouchers didn’t work so after paying 32 euro a night times 3 we then had to pay an additional 40 euro to get our car out of the parking area. We have tried to seek a refund but to no effect which has led to a disappointing experience overall, especially considering the cost of the accommodation and reputation of Novotel.

Liked: Location, cleanliness and staff were all brilliant
Disliked: Sofa bed was a bit lumpy, shame breakfast wasn’t included in the price and was noisy until quite late on one of the nights

Liked: The staff was exceptionally friendly and approachable, demonstrating a genuine customer-centric approach as they assisted us from check-in to check-out.
Disliked: The breakfast menu could have been a better spread, especially after my recent visit at Novotel Genève Centre. I found more options at Novotel Genève Centre than Novotel Paris Les Halles.

Garage parking

Liked: Location
Disliked: The hotel parking garage is locked down for quite a while, alternative a bit tricky. The entire hotel went into lock down for renovation the day after, affected staff and amenities.

Nice location for exploring Paris

Liked: Great location at the Metro station, walking distance to the Louvre Museum or Notre Dame. Spacious rooms and comfy beds
Disliked: It is now under restoration so it doesn’t look nice but this is not a big issue. We stayed 3 nights but the room was cleaned only once. The people at the reception were not so welcoming, the nicest man was the one helping with our suitcases to put them in the storage. The rest even do not look at you.
