Disliked: the reception's attitude was horrible, totally unprofessional.it was extremely cold in the room, the windows have no insulation and the wind was blowing in the room. I discussed this with the staff and they said that everything is fine, the heat is working. :))))dear god, run away from this hotel for 300 euros/night.I asked for omelette and boiled eggs for breakfast and they told me that I have to wait another 30 minutes because the cook is alone, but I can have sausages or croissants. :))))upon departure there was a gentleman receptionist who knew about my reported problem and asked me upon departure in an ironic way "if everything was ok"...good people, if you don't believe it, please test the luxury rooms with balcony and non-insulated windows for 300 euros/night.

Fantastic stay at Novotel Belleville

Liked: We were going to a conference and the hotel was 15 minutes by Uber (with traffic) from the conference location. The staff was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. My flight landed super early so I arrived at 10:30am that day and was able to have my room. This was a plus as I had a long flight and 6 hours time difference. The room was beautiful and modern. I was able to take a nap that afternoon without hearing any noise. The area is very animated with lots of rest, bars and other shops. Very convenient location. Other family members were staying at this hotel the same weekend and they loved it too. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of options. We also had lunch at the hotel restaurant and it was really good. Limited menu but great if you want to snack on something without leaving the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to the staff who made my stay memorable

Liked: We received very good service from Kazi and Mahmoud during our stay which made us feel at home. Very thankful. Great location. Rooms are big enough for Paris standards

Average stay - hotel was...

Liked: We wanted to stay in a recognised hotel as a lot of French hotels were quite boutique which we were not feeling. Rooms were spacious and bathroom was a decent size. Staff were polite and helpful. Our suitcase was lost at the airport and the hotel staff helped where the could to make our stay enjoyablez they even let us have an adapter free of charge (which I’m sure some hotels would thrive charging guests for). There are two metro stations nearby. These were very convenient. One is literally outside the hotel.
Disliked: Location isn’t the best. It’s about 30 min walk to city centre which we ended up walking daily which was fine for us as we loved the walk but the area itself is rough. As a girl, I wouldn’t have felt comfortable on my own or with a group of girls. There’s not much around the hotel so if you want a bite to eat or shops it is a walking trip. The hotel offered breakfast but the price was is a waste. I don’t recommend including breakfast in your booking. You’ll get more for your money going to a restaurant . I think there was 1-2 members of staff, tables stacked with old plates and not being cleared so people couldn’t be seated. Food selection was awful! I saw a lot of frustrated guests. Overall the hotel wasn’t bad , but we’d probably try and pick a different location next wise.
