Liked: The room was clean and comfortable however it was difficult to work out the TV and remote control. There also was no Netflix or chromecast but you could watch movies for a fee of $34.95. After making a complaint about the fee and not being able to watch Netflix, I was told the hotel is under renovations. It didn't look like it was to me. However the staff were kind and waived the movie fee.I found it odd that we had to go up to the 3rd floor to check in as that's where their reception is. Other than that the breakfast buffet great, except if you wanted eggs sunny side up, you had to ask for it to be cooked.

Liked: Location was perfect for what we were doing. Breakfast was great too
Disliked: Size of the pool is small so disappointed we didn't have a swim due to how busy it was

Whilst some things weren’t quite...

Liked: Prime location on Collins Street. A comfortable Novotel experience.
Disliked: Major construction happening on the shopping level disturbed us. The hotel staff did their best to compensate and we were satisfied with the agreement. Unfortunate timing is all.

Disliked: The floor in the bedroom was very lumpy and only 3 pillows between us
