Enjoyed this hotel; it was clean; staff were friendly and it felt luxurious for the price. Highly recommend.

Liked: The hotel was clean; service was good. The hotel itself is in a good spot and felt it was a high standard for the price.
Disliked: Nothing.

Good stay however my first impression was reception.

Liked: Clean room and nice hotel.
Disliked: Reception staff not very helpful on checking in. They never asked us for help with bags and stuff nor did they show us the route to the lifts or to the room - left us turning around in the entrance. Talking amongst each other was more important than helping guests out. However when checking out, they were friendly and helpful.

Liked: Great location, friendly and helpful staff, the receptionist Maggie provided the recommendation of facility and city visit tips.The room is very clean and the housekeeping standard is high, great value for all of these qualities above.

A hidden gem

Liked: Loved the hotel, staff, the shower gel and shampoo!Loved the location tooThis was the perfect hotelKids thought this was a "posh hotel"
Disliked: The lamp was in the way so both the pull out beds couldn't be side by side completely - this resulted in my child hitting their head in the middle of the nightOtherwise a perfect stay!

Liked: Location to the Palace Theatre
Disliked: TV didn't work on a avival bit sorted relatively quickly. Breakfast was so-so. Had my car keyed in car park but that wasn't the hotel's fault but it detracted from the whole stay

Disliked: Bath had mold around the sidesToilet had no sink Had to go into bathroom to wash handsDoor cards did not work after 1 day of 2 day stay Had to go down to reception , no apology given Asked to pay on arrival even though had paid full fee on booking and luckily had kept and printed receipt, again no apology given for this distressing incident Also had booked 1 double bed 1 sofa bed , was given a room with double bed , and told this was an upgrade not sure how to be honest

Perfect stay

Liked: The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable.It was a 5 minute walk from Oxford Road station and walking distance into town.
