Good enough.

Liked: Good location if you need to do anything in west Lyon. Ok breakfast by French standards. I would have preferred from warm breakfast options.
Disliked: The reception was not super friendly. The rooms are not very soundproof because we could hear kids playing in the hallway after 10 pm as we were trying to get our family to bed. Not very modern feeling for a Novotel.

Very good

Liked: The location is really practical for passing by. There are a lot of activities for the kids and restaurant/bar so you don’t have to leave the hotel. The parking is open and big and they close the door at night.
Disliked: We had problems with the air conditioning and they tried to fix it but it was a really hot day and the room was not as fresh as we would have liked.

Exceptional

Great for expo / concert...

Liked: We stayed here to go to the Taylor Swift concert. It was perfectly accessible for the concert venue, which was running a shuttle bus from the expo center nearby.
Disliked: It was fairly remote. Apart from the concert / expo center, you won't experience any of Lyon by staying here.
