Good from far but far...
Liked: The location of the hotel was awesome for the Australia Day celebrations in Perth. The staff were very friendly and did all they could to accommodate us.
Disliked: The original room that we had booked for our trip was unavailable, apparently due to a leaking air-conditioning issue. The hotel advised that we had to be downgraded, and no refund would be issued. I was also unaware that upon arrival, an additional $50 deposit would be charged. In total, I ended up paying just under $400 for a very average room.

Quiet comfy, and spacious. Lovely...
Liked: Staff were great and friendly, bed was comfy room was large, breakfast selection was pretty good!
Disliked: Shower pressure was a bit below average but other than that it was good!

Pleasant stay but other hotels...
Liked: . The food (dinner) ordered through room service was excellent.
Disliked: Parking was very impossible (carpark was full), no swimming pool or outdoor deck area to sit at.

4 Star Hotel Run Like...
Liked: Location was close to some tourists spots and parks.
Disliked: We booked two rooms for 3 nights but unfortunately one room was plagued with problems. On the first day the key lock was jammed but it was repaired expeditiously. On the third night the toilet's flush was faulty. The front desk staff came up to repair it but could not solve the problem. However, the staff advised us how to manage the problem. Really!!! We are paying guests and not part of the maintenance crew. They did not offer a room change, expecting us to live with the problem. We asked for a room change. We finally were given a new room that was to our satisfaction after midnight. But regrettably after settling in we discovered that the T.V. was faulty. Once again the front desk staff came up to the room 3 times before the TV was functioning. All this was really stressful. They provide very basic toiletries and when we requested for a shower cap on the first night, the staff expected us to go down to the front desk to collect it. We refused and only then did they deliver it to the room.We discovered that they do not have maintenance crew on standby at night. Though the room was spacious, everything else was jaded and needed to be refreshed.The shower curtain was mildewed and soiled and one day the bathroom was not even cleaned!We expected more from this international brand!
