Liked: Friendly staff on arrival - we had a slightly later than usual check-in.Room perfectly adequate for a 1-night stop over - double bed with sofa bed for the kids. Sofa bed already pulled out and made up ready.Would have been a bit too cosy for more than a couple of nights, though.

Useful for the railway station...

Liked: The place is very convenient for the railway station.
Disliked: Surprised at the poor facilities as this place appears to have four stars. There was NO milk in the room, only one ordinary tea bag which is unacceptable for a supposed 'international' hotel chain. The lid on the kettle was broken off so the kettle didn't switch off when it boiled. The toilet seat was sliding about and was very cheap plastic. When I complained on departure about the problems, the man on reception merely defended the poor facilities and told me that they would have brought milk if I'd asked. Given that I already had to ask for the sofa bed to be made up, despite telling them in advance we wanted to use it, I couldn't be bothered to have further contact with the staff, and I did have sachets of milk with me being a frequent traveller to France and knowing their UHT milk is usually cream for coffee, but that's hardly the point. Also 'bath robes' are advertised, but there's only one in the room. Were were supposed to share? I cannot recommend this place for four stars although it is a useful place to stay when using the train and spending an overnight in Grenoble.
