Generally a really good experience.

Liked: Really good access to the tram.
Disliked: Pity we could not check in earlier, as we were attending a rugby match at Murrayfield, and were then only able to check in after the match.

Liked: I will admit I received a room upgrade to a suite but hotel as a whole seemed clean and nice. Close to tram and train stations

Perfect 10/10

Liked: Hotel was modern, excellent facilities and location. Swimming pool was fab. Few minutes walk to tram line which takes your directly into Edinburgh City or From Edinburgh airport. KFC & Krispy Kreme Donuts directly across road. We had our car with us so we had chosen here for the car parking facilities rather than city centre, however I would have no hesitation staying here again if I was to fly over as tram line is so so convenient and cheap.
Disliked: Nothing, it was perfect for us.

Overall enjoyed our stay at...

Liked: Perfect situation for getting into city centre, room was clean, tidy. Staff were all very polite, courteous and friendly.
Disliked: Just the cost per night-thought that breakfast would have been included.

Housekeeping was extremely inappropriate, however...

Liked: The upgraded room was great, it was great value for money.
Disliked: Unfortunately even though we were given a “guest of honour” offer which stated free drinks on arrival that you could redeem at the bar, we were only able to get one between us, so I had to pay for another. It stated we had the option for a late checkout at 2pm if the availability allowed so, however we were rudely awoken by housekeeping at 9am!! They let themself in which in my opinion was extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate. Especially because we had just called reception and got told we needed to leave at 11. It made both me and my partner feel like we were rushed out the door. It gave us both a huge fright to hear the front door opening when we weren’t prepared to leave for another 2 hours.
