A hotel corresponding to 3...

Disliked: Having been in many 4 star hotels, I have expected a much higher standard for the price that is paid. This hotel is way too expensive for what it is in terms of comfort, facilities, as well as staff (at a minimum the staff needs to be attentive to guest needs, educated in what they do and dressed up/hair made up corresponding to the level of the hotel and the price the guests pay).

Liked: Top localisation, very clean and functional. Staff was very friendly and available.
Disliked: The room is a little bit small for a couple + a child

Clean, friendly and good location.

Liked: Lovely hotel about 5minute walk to the centre.The hotel was exceptionally clean, probably the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff were all very welcoming, polite and spoke good English. They even made us complimentary coffees as we were checking out. Right next door to a car park.Cannot recommend enough if you stay in Angers.

Fantastic stay would recommend

Liked: This is possibly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Its location is superb and the extremely clean. We had a large oversized car and the staff allowed us to park right outside the hotel. The staff couldn’t have been more polite and welcoming if they had tried. We had a wonderful family room with amazing views out .. and our room was spotless and super clean.

Pleasant

Liked: Overall things were OK...except that in booking.com presentation it's considered a hotel with parking but in reality it's not an owned facility within hotel but it's a public parking nearby for which customers must pay fees minus a small subsidy from the hotel. It's OK however this should have made clear to all would be customers before they actually book...ONLY to discover the fact when checking in ie too late for any change of mind !
Disliked: See above about the so called parking facility...

Modest but Perfectly Formed

Liked: This is not a flash hotel but it does everything extremely well for a very decent price. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, everything just works. It runs on a fairly minimal number of staff which means it must be quite hard work. However they deserve lots of kudos because, despite that, they still find time to be pleasant, charming, helpful and efficient. Good on you if you read this. :-)
