All around poor and unsafe...

Liked: Location wasn’t bad.
Disliked: It was extremely cramped and dirty. Dangerous stairs. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or looked after with hair all over the blankets. The mattress was uncomfortable and there were visible holes in the walls. When checking out the staff working at the front desk were passed out sleeping.

Liked: The location is great. That's about it. It's not worth saving the money, spend a bit more to not be accomodated here.
Disliked: The staff was very...relaxed. Rooms extremely basic, paper-thin walls. You can hear everything. The room was dirty, too. Shower in the wall: can't manipulate it. The shampoo and shower gel were extremely smelly, the cheapest I've ever seen. Did not use it. The price, for London, is good. However, next time, I will spend 50 gbs more to not be in this dump. No lift either.

Disliked: I was deceived by this hotel, which refused to cancel my reservation. Everything turned out to be much worse than described. The room was tiny, there was no elevator, the bathroom was dirty with hair in the sink, the shower didn't work (only the bathtub was usable), and there was no TV or fridge. Initially, I was given a very small room, so I requested a change, which they did. However, the new room was dirty, and the shower was broken. I went down to the reception and asked for a cancellation, offering to pay the penalty but requesting a partial refund. The hotel refused and went ahead with the booking (5 nights!!!). Only Booking.com processed a partial refund of 200 USD, while the hotel declined. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Exceptional

Liked: Nice and cosy, great location, luxurious ensuite bathroom. Pleasant experience all round, would definitely book again.

Uncomfortable and cramped

Liked: The location was very close to a lot of restaurants cafes and fast food.
Disliked: -Very cramped sleeping conditions -Bathroom terrible for anyone above 5 foot-Facilities in worn condition e.g socket barely hangs on to the wall. -No wardrobe-Sleeping covers very thin
