Nice spa and comfortable rooms

Liked: Breakfast was excellent
Disliked: Evening meals were limited for me as I can not eat garlic. If food is freshly cooked normally this is not an issue. However when I asked about fish dishes and veg risotto both were said to contain garlic. This must mean that menu is all pre made, so what I had expected from this hotel. My mushroom burger arrived without any cheese, so I had a bun with a mushroom, - an expensive and not very attractive meal to celebrate my birthday.We decided not to eat in every night as the options for me were extremely limited.

A relaxing break in beautiful...

Liked: Everyone is very friendly. Spa was clean Very comfortable rooms.
Disliked: Family with small children in two adjoining rooms above us. Children ran up down for hours in the evening and jumped from beds thumping over our heads before 6 am two days running. Why did you not put them on the ground floor where they would not disturb other guests ?Food in main restaurant was disappointing and seemed to be pre prepared. So if you asked for something to be omitted it was not possible, so very limited choice.

Worth it if you want...

Liked: Pros - swimming pool, gym and stunning grounds
Disliked: Cons - mattress was very firm and cleaning could have been more thorough. There was half eaten pizza and half finished drinks in the fridge and wrappers in the bathroom.
