We had a lovely stay....
Liked: Top class staff. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent food.
Disliked: The double bed was a little on the small side. We should have booked a twin.

Liked: The only good thing is that it is located in a very green area and close to the airport, if you need to take an early flight or are arriving late at night.
Disliked: Our recent stay at Norton House Hotel was an experience that, unfortunately, fell far short of expectations. Having stayed at hotels around the globe, I can confidently say this was the most disappointing hotel we have ever stayed.1.. Room Condition – A Health and Comfort HazardThe room we were assigned was not only cold due to inadequate insulation from single-pane windows but also poorly maintained. The discovery of rotting wood beneath the carpet and an alarming amount of dust was shocking for a property branding itself as luxurious. To make matters worse, the carpet appeared to be infested, as our children were bitten by bugs during the stay. Such conditions are unacceptable and far below even basic standards, let alone those of a high-end hotel.2. Misleading Policies and Inadequate CommunicationAnother issue was the unexpected restriction on using the swimming pool. This limitation, which was never disclosed during the booking process, effectively prevented us from enjoying a key facility. Had we known of this policy, we would have chosen another property that could accommodate our family. Transparency is a fundamental expectation when booking luxury accommodations, and the hotel's failure to provide this information represents a serious lapse in professionalism.3. Unsatisfactory Response to Guest ConcernsWhile the reception staff were informed of our grievance, they failed to address the severity of the issues or offer any resolution.4. A Reflection of Poor ManagementNorton House’s apparent disregard for guest comfort and its failure to manage basic upkeep suggest either a lack of care or chronic mismanagement.ConclusionWhat was supposed to be a relaxing family holiday ended in frustration and disappointment. I strongly urge potential guests to reconsider their choice if they expect transparent policies, clean accommodations, and a management team that takes guest concerns seriously.

Liked: Beautiful hotel and spa, staff are all amazing could not do enough. Made my little boys birthday so special, words cannot describe how amazing this hotel and staff are!! We will definitely be returning :) Thank you for such a lovely stay!
