Liked: All food was good.Room- small and very little hanging space for clothes - generally OK for one night. Bathroom was very tight - no heating as radiator was defective or isolated. Reported such but no one available to fix before morning.Fan noises from adjacent bathrooms and/or downstairs very loud humming.
Disliked: bathroom facilities poor.fan noise from other rooms.

Nice Hotel in a good...

Liked: We have stayed here before. A nice hotel in a pleasant location next too Dunnet Bay. Rooms are all well equipped and comfortable. Staff are helpful and pleasant. Had an evening meal which was good and the breakfast range was also very good. Parking for your car is available in the adjacent Car Park. If you are looking to stay in this part of Scotland Northern Sands Hotel would be a good place to stay.
Disliked: Couldn't fault anything.

Liked: Ticked our boxes - good location, ample parking, friendly & helpful staff, and an eye for detail. Excellent food- loved the no/low food waste ethos.

Liked: We really enjoyed out two night stay at this hotel . The staff were lovely and friendly and the food was excellent. It was a good base for some of the things we wanted to see .

John O'groats visit.

Liked: Pretty much everything was excellent, great atmosphere and friendly staff made the visit fantastic. The food from the restaurant was excellent with service to match.

Great visit to northern Scotland....
