Liked: The property grounds were beautiful, the room was spotlessly clean, amenities in the room were great; loved the coffee maker, with complimentary coffee, the wine glasses, drinking glasses and map of the area! The staff were so friendly and accommodating.

Liked: Unique motel with lots of interesting decor and character. The lovely host gave us fresh banana bread as a welcome which we enjoyed! Typical motel style but well-equipped kitchen and clean & comfortable beds and bathroom.
Disliked: It's a little out of town, and the sign is a bit hidden in the bushes so we missed it in the dark.

Liked: Our group of 4 stayed here 1 night. We received a very friendly welcome and fresh baking. They accommodated our early check in request. The rooms were tidy and clean and the property had lots of unique features to admire. Would recommend

Liked: Lovely property in a beautiful location on the lake side. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. The motel is unassuming from the kerb, however the back is lovely and there are BBQ’s for guests to use and picnic tables. The other guests were incredibly welcoming and it’s clear this is very much a repeat visitor motel. Despite this we had a great time and would definitely return.
Disliked: Not a dislike, but more a warning for European visitors or those with no/limited mobile service, there is a note on the door with a number to call to check in. For us this would have been very expensive, luckily the manager came by as we were wondering what to do. Just be aware of this.

Charming old world motel just...

Liked: Our hostess Trish was delightful and very helpful. The property was was picturesque, done up with antiques and charming older style furniture with lovely planter boxes outside each doorway. Shower was good too

We would recommend staying here.

Liked: The owner was so friendly and helpful. She gave us a homemade banana bread on our arrival. The room was clean and comfortable.
