Good, central hotel, close to...

Liked: Large, comfortable room with tea and coffee and biscuits.
Disliked: The bar closed at 11pm. We came back, after a night out, at 1105 and couldn’t get a night cap, which was disappointing for a resident bar. The underground car park is not hotel run.

Slightly disappointing due to Restaurant...

Liked: location good and staff friendly
Disliked: Room had no stand for case to be placed on - for older people placing case on the floor is not ideal! - also wanted to have an evening meal at the hotel but on each evening we were informed 'not enough bookings' therefore the kitchen was closed - also requested a sandwich/snack at about 5.00pm one evening as we were going to a show at the Pavilion - informed we should have ordered it at reception the day before as the kitchen was now closed!! - We have stayed at the Norfolk previously- nice hotel but thought it odd that the kitchen was closed during the evening! - surely a 4* hotel should have a kitchen open to cater for guests for an evening meal. Would normally have a pre evening drink in the hotel but as kitchen closed went elsewhere for our drink consequently your bar takings 'down' - As previously mentioned, we have stayed at the Norfolk before with no issues - it takes many years to build a reputation which can be lost quickly!

Lovely hotel! Would highly recommend!

Liked: We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The cleanliness was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, our room was well equipped and comfortable.
Disliked: Nothing

Ok for two nights,

Disliked: The food in the breakfast was horrible ! And all the staff were unpleasant.
