Liked: After seeing reviews online, we were not expecting much but could not have been more surprised. The hotel was very clean, and communal areas were too. Loved our rooms, which were some of the best we have stayed in and had clearly been modernised beautifully. TV in each room was 40" and for freeview had plenty of channels. The hotel had free WiFi, which was a nice touch considering other britania hotels don't. Staff were really friendly and professional and could not have been more accommodating. We had the food package with breakfast and tea, which was also good and by no means 'budget hotel'.All in all, we loved the Norbreck and will not hesitate to return.
Disliked: The only issue we had was our bed was too hard for us - but that comes down to personal preference, and our friends all said they found theirs really comfy.

Disliked: Heating ....must have an airlock in system ...very noisy when it kicked in early hours ..but room was nice and warn even in Feb This negative wouldnt stop me going again It's not 5 star but definitely it's stars it is and u can c its being slowly brought up to date
