A lovely little hotel in...
Liked: We have been staying many times in Nora Stadshotell and the majority of visits have been great. The hotel is located extremely central in Nora with easy access to everything this little town has to offer. Our favorite room (I won't reveal the room-number :D ) is very comfortable and clean with a large tv, two comfortable chairs, a little table, morning-robes and a great double-bed. The rooms can get cold during the winter-season so make sure to ask for an electric heater, they will put it into your room at no extra charge. The breakfast is also a bonus, very fresh with both hot and cold dishes, served in an elegant old-fashioned breakfast room. The younger staff is very pleasant and they really want to do what's best for you and help in as many ways as they can. Then the restaurant and pub also deserves a mention. The menu is not long, but what's on offer is excellent and very value for money. There is also a pub-menu with less costly food on offer, also excellent value for money.
Disliked: Sometimes there is a lack of attention to detail. On our last visit, we were given a room where the toilet couldn't flush, this should have been noticed and fixed before a guest has arrived. The reception has quite limited opening hours, although there is a phone-number you can call in case you need help. We had a bit of trouble with accessing the hotel after closing time because the cards didn't work. This was pointed out, we got new cards without problem, but as it turned out they also didn't work to open the outside door. Also on our last visit, we were told upon arrival that the breakfast wasn't being served in the hotel. Instead, due to few guests, it would be served in the nearby "Lilla hotellet". Of course we can understand this, but it would have been great to get this information before arrival. And on a final note...why don't diversify the rates according to season? The price we paid now in January is exactly the same as you pay during peak-season, which defies logic (at least to me)

Very enjoyable stay made even...
Liked: Was comfortable, warm and had some nice little extras
Disliked: The room was quite small and a bit "tired" compared to the other two rooms that my family were staying in. There may be a reason for this such as gradual renovation ( a room at a time for example)
