Finally found a place where...

Liked: Short walk to beach and Lions park (with playground and beach in the river) as well as Hastings street shops, life saving club.Comfy and clean. Good kitchen facilities.2 bathrooms and toilets. Designated parking, no need to search for a parking spot, and enough room to actually fit a car!
Disliked: Pub across the road was a bit noisy Friday night, but not too late.

Liked: The appartment was really well located and had a really convenient and short walk into town. The views were nothing short of spectacular. Originally we were going to stay as a couple but were able to add a family member and the staff could not have been more accommodating and made the necessary changes to the booking with minimal fuss! The appartment was huge and really well kitted out and we were delighted overall. Would recommend

Last two nights we spent...

Liked: The room that we paid for as advertised was not the room we got, first room was very dusty, hairs in the shower, white stains on the carpet. Bathroom didn’t even fit myself and my husband in it.
Disliked: Firstly couldn’t get into hotel, no after hours contact number. Once finally talking to someone staff sighed as they made it feel like it was our fault, we didn’t receive after hours email. Once in room that looked completely different from the photos advertised we called to say we were disappointed and were told we should have called prior to ask for a better room. However when we book something online it should resemble the photos advertised. After complaining and having our experience ruined off the bat, they moved us to advertised room however half was through our trip, which we then had to pack all of our belongings and then get settled again in new apartment.
