Really disappointing

Disliked: The fact that booking.com advertised a room aesthetic that was nothing like we paid for. We got catfished

Brilliant stay - thank you!

Liked: The appartment was really well located and had a really convenient and short walk into town. The views were nothing short of spectacular. Originally we were going to stay as a couple but were able to add a family member and the staff could not have been more accommodating and made the necessary changes to the booking with minimal fuss! The appartment was huge and really well kitted out and we were delighted overall. Would recommend

Last two nights we spent...

Liked: The room that we paid for as advertised was not the room we got, first room was very dusty, hairs in the shower, white stains on the carpet. Bathroom didn’t even fit myself and my husband in it.
Disliked: Firstly couldn’t get into hotel, no after hours contact number. Once finally talking to someone staff sighed as they made it feel like it was our fault, we didn’t receive after hours email. Once in room that looked completely different from the photos advertised we called to say we were disappointed and were told we should have called prior to ask for a better room. However when we book something online it should resemble the photos advertised. After complaining and having our experience ruined off the bat, they moved us to advertised room however half was through our trip, which we then had to pack all of our belongings and then get settled again in new apartment.

Disliked: Being woken up on the first morning by hammering and drilling by electricians 7 am a bit early

A great sunny escape in...

Liked: The location was perfect. Slightly off the Main Street made it quieter. The elevated position gave a lovely view also.

Fabulous views

Liked: Great location and amazing views from the apartment. Very easy walk into the Main Street with shops and restaurants.
Disliked: The decor was a bit dated. The showers could do with being upgraded.

Quality Apartments and would stay...

Liked: The quality of the apartment, the way it was styled and little touches. The view was nice, I think better if you were higher up so our view was interrupted. The location looks far from Hastings street but it is not because they have this cool boardwalk down to lions park, so it's a pleasant walk. Would definitely stay there again.
Disliked: A little picky, for a high quality establishment the towels were a let down, they were on the thin side and not nice at all. Also could you please leave some dishwashing liquid, for 2 people there was only dishwashing powder and given we didn't eat in at all its silly to run the dishwasher for a couple of glasses and mugs each day.
