Good location, adequate - but...

Liked: The location is great, easy to get to most places in the CBD and a quick walk from nearby bus stops. And the price is decent compared to other similar options in the vicinity. The rooms with fewer beds and their own toilet & shower are unique.
Disliked: The rooms are kept tidy, but the kitchen was a pigsty with dishes all over the place, very few spoons to be found, and more chairs that can actually fit around the eating tables they have crammed in the dining area.However the worst part of this trip was the staff, their actions, and their attitude - if I present a valid NZ driver's license, then you do not need to also see my Passport (which I have zero need to carry as a NZ resident!). If you enter a room to tidy up/clean and see that someone is still asleep - SHUT UP! Treat your paying guests with respect and either come back at the end of that floor's rotation - or simply be quite. It's rude to wake up a sleeping guest not once, not twice, but THRICE - all because you're too busy laughing, joking, and shouting about what another staff member did the night before - while I'm clearly lying in the bed trying to sleep! Then pretend that everything's fine when I later complain!

Good value at a budget...

Liked: The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The shower worked well, and the TV offered a variety of streaming apps in HD. For a budget price, it's zhvery good value.

Liked: The staff were awesome, the location is perfect, & it’s well priced
Disliked: The beds are not for those with bad backs, & the window in your room might look into other rooms
