A chilly stay in an...

Liked: - A very beautiful and quiet location in the middle of the forest.- The room have a nice balcony with table and chairs with forest view.
Disliked: - The price of a double room is the same (and high), regardless of whether one or two people are staying.- The hotel is not 4 stars (maybe it was when it was inaugurated). Now it is quite outdated. The old wooden floor creaks, even though it is covered with carpet. This gives the impression of an old mountain cabin. The walls are not soundproof, you can still hear everything from the hallway and from the adjacent rooms.- Although I stayed in February, the room was not heated until my arrival at 9 pm. Worse, the balcony door was open, for ventilation! It was only a few degrees outside. The room only warmed up towards morning. The bathroom was so cold that when I took a hot bath (to warm myself up) the water condensed on the walls and started to flow. The lack of ventilation in the bathroom kept the humidity until morning, it also entered the room and increased the feeling of cold.I had the feeling that I was staying in a cave.

Good

Liked: The place is quite picturesque and you can see that it has quite a bit of history. I really liked the aesthetic because it made it more cosy. Staff are very kind and welcoming, and the location is really beautiful.
Disliked: The breakfast didn't provide many choices and the coffee machine was very old which made the coffee not very tasteful. The room furniture and infrastructure is quite old. I had some issues with the toilet pipes making noise during the night and there isn't very good isolation.

Liked: We had a good room overlooking the front of the hotel. The setting in the woods in lovely.
Disliked: It would be helpful to have a kettle or coffee machine in the room.

Liked: I liked the fast and problem-free service, and I have the impression that this team is able to solve every little problem to make every guest feel welcome.
Disliked: There is nothing to write about here because everything was satisfactory

Liked: It was close to where I had a party.
Disliked: The elderly other residents, but they were bearable. This is a joke.
