Liked: Excellent hotel particularly the staff on reception and in the restaurant. We had three rooms between us. Each was different. The vault provided us with an really exceptional meal with friendly efficient service. Only negative was nothing in room was replenished, including soap which was empty on arrival. The bedside table was never cleaned and had tea stains for duration of our stay. There is absolutely nowhere to put clothes other than four hangers in wardrobe and couple of hooks behind door so all jumpers, underwear etc have to be kept in suitcases. Really good location too. Thank you for a super family holiday.

Liked: Uniquely styled and well located with great character and charm. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast and lovely room makes it an hotel to return to. Can't do better!
Disliked: Dinner meny was on the short side. Stronger coffee and scrambled eggs made out of real eggs could be worth considering.
