Overall, our stay was pleasant...

Liked: Good position, reasonably close to shops and beach, and not as busy as Broadbeach or Surfer Paradise.
Disliked: Road noise and construction was somewhat annoying.

Liked: The staff were very friendly & helpful however there were bed bugs & the whole family were covered in bites.

Liked: Great staff member that served us. Upgraded us to a 3 bedroom house. House wasn't that clean though and sliding door and screen door could not lock so felt a bit unsafe. Gate was damaged during cyclone so couldn't close. Tried calling but office was closed then got too busy with family to even bother. Luckily we were only there to sleep for the 3 nights. However beds weren't that great. Quite uncomfortable. House does need to be renovated as it is quite outdated
