Convenient stay in city center

Liked: Had a good stay at fair prices near S.F. city center. Real good staff and nice clean room. A little outdated structure in general and too cold in the bathroom, combined with a basic breakfast, but averall we had a good time.

Liked: Excellent location. Free coffee nice touch. Breakfast included great surprise! Comfortable stay, good sleep. Columbini restaurant attached was quirky and tasty food, reccommend the gorgonzola salad. The owner was friendly guy he adds to the ambiance!

Love staying here.

Liked: The building is historic and authentic. Also clean and comfortable and the rooms are so nice.
Disliked: Breakfast could be better. Ice machine next to our room was loud at night.

Masked man home invasion in...

Liked: I hate to have to leave this review because I’ve stayed at this place literally dozens of times over the years and I really did like it. I thought it was fairly price. However, if I don’t warn other people about the danger and the character of the owners of this hotel and something happened to someone else, I would be responsible. In the past month there has been at least 2 occasions of MASKED MEN committing something along the lines of home invasion/ROBBERY or RAPE in their hotel, on their property, to their guests. I was unfortunate to be one of the victims of a masked intruder, unfortunately for me I have a significant amount of trauma in my past and have been the victim of home invasion, sexual assault things like that. So as you can imagine, even though I managed to lock the door before he got in and then had to watch him hop the fence to get away. The experience has caused a lot of pain and anxiety for me.I asked immediately for them to call the cops and they said they would, they didn’t. When I called and asked again they said that they had, they hadn’t. When I went to check out, the manager seemed genuinely concerned and offered me a free night. I would’ve accepted that and felt OK however he wouldn’t let me stay that night and when I called the next day and every day for the next month, he would block my number . If I would call from a different number, they would say that they don’t have a manager or that they were the owner, even though it was a female voice, and it wasn’t owner or manager. So I booked a room there online yesterday and went in planning to speak with the owner face-to-face.

Liked: Nob Hill hotel is perfectly located in the heart of San Francisco. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the patio on the 6th floor offers nice views and you can relax in the sun. The rooms are nice and clean with coffee making facilities. We really love the vintage elevator.
Disliked: Nothing.
