Liked: Staff was helpful and chatty, everyone we met was friendly, kitchen had all we needed and we enjoyed spending time in the shared areas. Bathrooms are basic but ok.
Disliked: The building is quite old which decreases some functionality - windows let through a lot of wind and make noise when windy and rainy outside, you can hear a lot of noise from hallways, and also the blankets and duvets have their best time over. Still - a good value for the low price.

Liked: Themed hostel in a 1915s monastery. Was awesome. Everything worked, had character, and very easy to socialize.

Typical backpacker. Bit tired but...

Liked: Good location. We were able to stay a few extra hours as rain stopped us from doing anything in greymouth
Disliked: Bit scruffy and tired. Slight leak in the bedroom (there was torrential rain to be fair).

Liked: The staff was amazing, so so lovely and welcoming! Cosmo is the CUTEST dog, definitely made us feel so much more comfortable and less scared (we're 2 young females). This was our first time staying in a backpakers/hostil and 10/10 would stay again. THANK YOU!
