Noah's Ark Backpackers is a historical ex-monastery centrally located and boasting panoramic city sea and sunset views. Quirky hostel, needs TLC

Liked: Very cool building and lovely staff and convenient parking
Disliked: It’s a bit run down and needs a lot of work doing

Not your typical hostel -must...

Liked: - super friendly staff, felt like visiting family - old presbitarian building with very specific decoration -a must see
Disliked: Might be a bit old fashioned.

Liked: One of the best hostels in New Zealand, where I stayed. Owners are suuuuper nice! It is clean, room was good and bed is comfortable. It is very hygenic. Kitchen is well equipped, there is free coffee and tea! I even extended my stay with 2 extra nights!They also let you use the bike for free! Highly suggest to visit the Point of Elizabeth!

I wish I had stayed...

Liked: Quiet and friendly. Did my washing and hung it up in the back garden. Did an excellent walk up ‘King domain walk’ and turned right on a small secret path at the top which took me along a ridge. It was the most beautiful and fun hike of my world trip. I regret not staying longer here, staff were super friendly too.

Liked: Good location and friendly staff. Clean and cozy. Good option.
