Idealic boutique hotel perfect for...

Liked: Staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely hotel, amazing location with a 5 minute walk into the centre of Bath.
Disliked: Not a negative but a note to future bookings - Book car parking at the hotel in advance and book any spa sessions a couple weeks or so in advance.

Great hotel but slightly overpriced

Liked: Beautiful room.Great location.Pantry a great idea but not a lot of choice but a quirky perk.Bathroom products were a delight. Most staff were very friendly.
Disliked: Woukd have preferred more choice in the breakfast items that were out to help yourself.Ordered a cooked dish off the menu and it was way too big - waffles with bananas and sauce.Couldn't eat anything else so was quite an expensive breakfast.Although the hotel is beautiful, it is definitley over priced. Paid over £300 for a room.

Disappointing, especially considering the price.

Liked: Breakfasts were good but expensive. The bed was very comfortable. It was good to have our luggage collected from the station. Location quite good.
Disliked: Room was small, neither of our phones could pick up the WiFi and reception could not do anything, the lighting was poor and not in the right places, ie near the mirrors. The heating wad not very controllable ie it was either full on or off and the towel rail in the bathroom was so hot it was a safety hazard. There is an aircon unit just outside the bathroom window which constantly hummed. The bath taps leaked a bit which soaked the mat left in the bath, we reported this. . No help with getting luggage back to the station. Would have considered arriving by car but car park fee prohibitively expensive and there were no ev charge points.

The test of any hotel...

Liked: Excellent friendly service, in a boutique hotel filled with character and originality. Fantastic location in the heart of Bath. It was a birthday treat for my husband and the room was beautifully designed with a surprise bottle of bubbles when we returned from dinner which was lovely.
Disliked: I honestly can’t think of anything.

Very good

Liked: Excellent facilities and lovely hotel. Staff were friendly and loved the pantry idea. Great location and it's very easy to get into central Bath.
Disliked: The walls were too thin in the small rooms on the top floor. We could hear everything from the next room and were woken up very early in the morning. Sound proofing is a must!
