Lovely stay in Westray

Liked: We had an excellent stay in Westray. When you wake up in the morning, you can see seals from your bed. Jerry did a great job: nice stories about his life and about the island. And in the morning he makes a great breakfast with a view on the seals. The beds sleep well.The Puffins are excellent: you can spend hours watching them. Also worth a visit is the walk to the lighthouse and the Noup Cliffs with the Gannets.Try the fish and chips just a short trip from the b&b.And don't forget: stay a few nights, as one night is to short to visit the island!

Liked: Jerry was the most perfect host.Breakfast in a fantastic conservatory with a beautiful sea-view and seals always swimming around!Breakfast was amazing

Liked: Jerry is a wonderful host with interesting stories to tell and he provides a superb breakfast in a lovely conservatoryThe house has a quirky charm all of its own which we loved.Windows in bedroom allowed super view across the bay with seals on the rocks (not guaranteed!).We would highly recommend this as a place to stay and for sure if/when we come back to Westray this is where we will head!Walking distance to Pierowall hotl which does very good evening mealsThe groatie buckie cafe a little further on is good for cakes and coffee

Liked: Lovely landlord looked after us in comfy family home ,with delicious breakfast and beautiful view of sunrise over the harbour. Peaceful, tranquil and a world away from problems and worries
Disliked: We don't drive, but the bus delivers you to and from the port

Liked: Loved the location and the view from our alcove wing-back chairs
Disliked: Floors needed sweeping and vacuuming
