Disliked: That there was no option of after hrs check in and no closing times stating that the premises were closed at 12am on a Sunday

Liked: Room was spacious enough. With a small fridge and they offered the cutest little complimentary breaky packs.
Disliked: Could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly and I feel for the location and what's available the nightly rates are a little to high

An excellent and enjoyable stay.

Liked: The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The rooms have been refurbished and the hotel belongs to the NIGHT CAP business which is an excellent company. The room has all that is needed, for coffee making, a fridge with REAL milk in it and two bottles of drinking water, and a large LED TV. The Air conditioning is a split system unit which was QUIET and CLEAN. I liked the bar downstairs where you can get a drink. Also we received two free drink vouchers. The lady who checked us in was super friendly and very helpful and welcoming! The free breakfast pack was so handy! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Rose and Crown.
Disliked: The pillows were a bit hard. I prefer the softer variety. Maybe offer a "soft" or "hard" variety? The bathroom was a bit tiny - but that's ok - no problem at all as the price of the hotel is reasonable! There was no shelf in the bathroom or vanity basin to put toiletries.
