Night Hotel Broadway

Elevators were a huge problem; ended up taking the stairs from the 12th floor a lot.

Liked: The room was modern and clean; perfect for two people; bed was comfortable; one woman specifically at the front desk was friendly and kind.
Disliked: The hotel's internet and cable were down. Evening 1, the gentleman told us it would be fixed the next day. When we called the front desk the next day we were told it'd been down for a week and would continue to be down as they were having a problem. Not that this had any hindrance on our trip. It would have been nice to know for one and two been told upon asking.

Liked: The room was very clean, and the staff was polite and helpful. The location is great. The area is generally safe, and there is no street noise in your room. I will definitely stay in this hotel in the future.

You get what you pay for. For a place to sleep and keep your stuff, this is the place for you. If you want luxury, it definitely is not.

For my first overnight in New York City this hotel was comfortable.

All in all I’d recommend...

Liked: The rooms and lobby were very clean and the hotel looks like it had been updated despite the pictures on the website. The staff were friendly and very helpful about where to eat for breakfast. There’s even a discount if you visit a certain place. We didn’t during our stay but it’s very nice of them to offer it. The hotel cleaning staff cleaned our rooms quickly after we left for the day. And they restocked the free toiletries that were used in the room daily. All of the elevators worked and were relatively quick to come to our floor after the buttons were pressed. The large window in our room had a gorgeous view at night although there isn’t much to see in the area this hotel is located. All in all I’d recommend 9/10! It’s a great price and close to a subway line for speedy travel for a NYC vacation!
Disliked: There wasn’t a microwave in the rooms and there wasn’t one located in the lobby. Reheating food becomes a burden because you’ll have to ask the hotel staff to use their personal microwave. Also the tub doesn’t empty quickly.. so taking a shower you’ll have water well up past your ankles. So if you wash your hair, or have dirty legs from walking around NYC in shorts, you’re likely to leave rings around the tub. It’s an unpleasant site, so I had to clean the tub several times during my stay.
