If you don't need to...

Liked: The room was great - both comfortable and clean, with a fantastic view of the falls. We paid to upgrade from cityview to fallsview and although it was $200 more, it was well worth it for the views. For anyone opting for a cityview room, you should know that on each floor, by the elevators, are large glass windows facing the falls, so you can get great views and pictures of the falls from there.
Disliked: The problem I had was that instead of having a normal door, that you would expect to have on your bathroom, they had a rolling barn-style door. There were gaps all the way around it where someone could potentially see in, and every sound made could come out through them. The door just sits loosely on a rolling track. On top of that, there was a $45 per night parking fee that had to be paid at the hotel. Then, at the end of the included buffet breakfast, we were presented with a bill which had the cost of the meal printed on it and then below it they had marked that there was no charge, with 2 additional blank spaces below that. I was instructed, rather aggressively by the staff member who presented the bill to me, that there was a spot there for us to leave a tip and then to write that in and the total at the bottom. I told her that we had already left a nice tip in the room and she said yes well that doesn't matter because those tips don't come to us so we should fill in the bill to provide the buffet staff with an additional tip.
