The NH Wien City offers air-conditioned rooms directly on Mariahilfer Straße Vienna's biggest shopping street. An underground station is in the same building complex. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. The spacious rooms offer a work desk and a flat-screen TV. Most have a separate living and sleeping area (sliding door) and some come with a kitchenette. A rich breakfast buffet is served at the hotel in the morning. There is an open bar next to the reception offering drinks and snacks 24 hours a day. Wonderful Holidays in Vienna

Liked: Warm. Silent, cozy, peaceful just enough to take your breath away and then go for a trip, or just a walk to the markets for Christmas. We also went on a longer trip to Halstatt and Salzburg and made shoppings quite easily because the hotel was in the middle of Mariahilferstrasse.We were enchanted with carrols at St Stephan Cathedral and with Rigoletto by Verdi at the Vienna Stadt Opera.
Disliked: There is nothing you could dislike and I will make a comeback to this hotel

Perfect option in the center...

Liked: Great stay at the heart of Vienna. The quality of the room and attentiveness of the employees were exceptional.

Not worth the price. Not...

Liked: The location is very central. Near U bahn (metro). The reception staff is friendly.
Disliked: The room is old and outdated. The lighting is poor. The building look more like hospital than hotel. The bathroom tiles are chipped. The cleanliness need to be improved. The entrance is not on main street and have to walk full round if shopping stores closed.

Not a 4 stars...

Liked: Location is ideal for visiting Vienna. Close to metro and city center.
Disliked: Breakfast was everyday the same. No variation whatsoever.In the spirit of environmental awareness they leave you the choice to have the room cleaned on a daily basis or not. However if you choose this option you don't get new glasses nor coffee cups. You do get a voucher for a free drink but you're not allowed to take a cooled drink and will receive a "room temperature" drink which is not refreshing. Bottle of water will be given once even though you might stay multiple days....

Good hotel

Liked: - Great location- Comfortable, great amenities- Friendly & helpful staff
Disliked: - Getting into the hotel from the main street (Maria hilferstrasse) is a bit tricky, especially if you have luggage. So, better to enter from the other side
