Superb

A great time in a...

Liked: NH Puebla is a wonderful hotel located in the historic district of Puebla. Wonderful buildings all around with an incredible atmosphere. Overall, it was a great stay in the city of Puebla!
Disliked: The particular wing of rooms that we stayed at was undergoing maintenance/renovations so it was a little messy. Some of the carpets were stained as well as the walls. The rooms were clean and well maintained however.

We will not return to...

Liked: The staff was nice. Beds were comfortable. We were a party of 8. 3 rooms, 2night stay-traveling with a disabled person- wheelchair
Disliked: Well, after check-in we dropped our luggage in our rooms (3rooms).When going to our rooms, the maids made a comment the water is shut off on this floor. Will be back on soon. 1st floor, older part of NH building.Upon returning to our rooms, room 148 was flooded- water leaking out of ceiling. So we called front desk to switch rooms. They moved us up a floor to 2nd floor. Just 1 room.Next day-morning Room 143. Floods water leaking from ceiling. This is the room with our aunt- who is in a wheelchair. They move them across the hall to Room146.At this point we had been very patient with the hotel. We. My spouse Marco and I wanted to talk to the hotel manager regarding our situation and voice are concerns over the water leaks on the 1st floor. We spoke with the manager Jacklyn and voiced our concerns. Asking they compensate us in some way for all the inconvenience’s we have encountered. Trust me we are not the kind of people- family that was looking for anything free!! She listened and said she wanted to find the source of the waters issue and let us know. We thought okay, we waited,heard nothing from her.Upon check out we ask the front desk reception if anything was credited to our stay-account. She said no, after making a call to Jacklyn she did confirm that NH would give us a credit for 1 night for 2 rooms- not 3. By this time all we wanted to do was checkout and leave. We appreciated the gesture and giving us a 1 night credit ( 2 rooms).There was obviously something going on this floor, part of this area-wing of the hotel. Also, to note in the hallway the carpet was soiled, and wet. Wall was torn out too. Obviously there was a water leak and issues going on!!! We should have never been assigned to this floor- rooms. Especially traveling with a disabled person.I have attached photos of the water leak - and the issue going on in the hallway outside of our rooms. We had 3 rooms. 141, 143,148.

Good business hotel in center...

I had no problems with...

Liked: We both liked the breakfast. I particularly liked the decaf coffee available in the espresso machine. Custom made omlettes were good, but inexpliecably no option for cheese on my second breakfast
Disliked: Cheese for my omlette, my friend's door card did not work the entire stay. She had to keep going back to the main dexk to get it fixed. very bad service on that. Also, her heater did not work the first night.

Exceptional

Location 10/10

Liked: Front office staff was 10/10. Super friendly & efficient.
Disliked: Upper floors are being renovated atm so during the day it can cause some noise.

Good for location and price...

Liked: The staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful, the location is great, the gym is enough
Disliked: Poorly kept, carpets super dirty, the beds are not very comfy and didn’t feel clean, mould in the bathroom, smell of drains

Excellent choice to visit downtown...

Liked: Breakfast is excellent. The location is very good, less than 10 min walk to the cathedral and Palafoxiana library.
Disliked: I booked a single room for the four of us (2 kids and us) and there was only 1 small bottle of water and 2 towels.
