Liked: The room was spacious and clean. The hotel location was good, at the end of the market street leading to the cathedral and main square. Very close to bars and restaurants by the river. Good value.

Liked: Lovely clean room, good selection for breakfast to cover all tastes, location great for being central, but be warned the weekend of 24th and 25th August is Maanrock Europe's only free rock festival and its held in Mechelen really well organised but music from Jazz, cover bands and thrash metal until late and busy.

Modern, comfortable and central

Liked: The member of staff who was apologetic that our original room wasn't ready found a solution in upgrading us after we'd returned to check in a second time. The location is perfect for the liveliest areas of Mechelen whilst the city falls asleep very early and wakes very late... no noise issues at all. Everything was clean and the hotel is small and modern. Breakfast is excellent.
Disliked: There wasn't anything about our stay that was unpleasant.

Disliked: Rooms aircon didn't work. Even though the ones that said they worked barely worked. They made little. To no difference to the heat. Cleanliness wasn't great and shower was basic.
