Super small and smelly room,...

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff. The location is good for exploring the city and also suitable for visiting concerts at the Barclays arena — U- and S-bahn stations at a walking distance. Decent breakfast. Kettle in the room. Opting out from the cleaning is rewarded with a drink voucher for every staying person.
Disliked: Super small room and bathroom, narrow and awkward — there is basically not enough space for a couple. Only one small wardrobe (4 coat hangers) next to the door, no closet to store clothes or other belongings. Small bed with a poor mattress. Soundproofing is non-existent — at the first night an adjacent room was occupied, and we heard every their step and cough. Our room (419) had an awful odour — we kept the window open, but it didn't help much. Also, the room was poorly cleaned — there were dust piles in every corner and under the furniture, walls were also stained and dirty. Regarding the breakfast area — there is only one relatively slow toaster which is not enough. Overall, the price didn't match the provided comfort, wouldn't stay there again.

During my time there, I...

Liked: In terms of rooms, we had a very pleasant stay at our twin room. The beds were comfy, we had a bathtub, the rooms were kept clean and looked after. Quite lovely actually. In terms of breakfast, the staff was very kind and offered a good range of meats, eggs, sweets and so on. They even made something at the request of my friend, to make him a bowl of oatmeal, using water, due to his diet. Quite accommodating.
Disliked: Can't really say there was something I disliked about my stay there. Perhaps the parking passage was a bit tight and at an incline, but otherwise, nothing really too noteworthy!
