Not what expected for the...

Liked: The staff is very hospitable, being fair, I didn't require much assistance. Good breakfast, with eggs, fruits, cheeses and prosciutto and salami. Yogurt, granola, milk and juice. And of course coffee and tee. The room was spacious. Toiletries included soap, shampoo and hair conditioner, as well as body lotion. Toothbrush and toothpaste, comb, razor etc.
Disliked: The room is in urgent need for maintenance work. The light in the closet did not work, had to pickup my clothes with flashlight. Water stains in the bathroom ceiling and shower wall. The lights in the room are quite dim. On the other hand there are fllod lights projecting at the hotel's wall and the windows. There are blackout curtains, but if forgetting to close them, or wanting to open a window at night, those lights were quite inconvenient

Liked: We loved the staff at the hotel specially Mr Pedro at breakfast section if ever we are going to be back it will only be because of him.
Disliked: old stained dirty rooms size of the room extremely small.

A great stay with friendly...

Liked: I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly, and they even allowed an early check-in, which was much appreciated. The night receptionist went above and beyond, helping us get a cab at 2 AM. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the train station, and the bus stop is only about 150 meters away. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!

I wouldn’t go there again...

Liked: The location and in general a nice place but service was terrible. You have to ask for everything there to four times.
Disliked: We were situated next to the machinery that operates the swimming pool, which made it noisy through the night. So they gave us an extra room to sleep in as well as our existing room, but once we return to our existing room, someone had been in there and took the kettle. This must have been through the middle of the night and why someone would take the kettle is beyond me. We had to ask the front desk for tea and coffee several times and hours later I went to the front desk and demanded that they handed to me then, as they were not delivering it to the room. They were full of apologies but apologies don’t fix the problems. This was probably the most expensive hotel, our whole 2 month trip and the worst experience of our whole trip. I guess cheaper hotels are less obnoxious.
