NH Essen feedback

Liked: Personnel (esp. Christian and Ante) were always friendly and helpful. Also nice location, all the restaurants/bars are in walking distance
Disliked: Small technical issues, which were handled promptly and friendly by the personnel.

Good location, too pricey for...

Liked: The hotel is conveniently located in walking distance from the train station and center of Essen. The room was spacious, and although the windows were towards the street, it wasn't noisy (with windows closed).
Disliked: For the price, the hotel was a bit disappointing. The room wasn't perfectly clean, the sink wasn't draining properly, and the area around the hotel is really not charming. The whole thing felt very impersonal.

Great hotel in the historic...

Liked: Excellent location on the edge of the city centre. We were very close for the Christmas markets which was the reason for our trip.
Disliked: The layout of the room was very odd with a wall in the middle, the bed on one side and the desk on the other... plus two televisions. Was this meant to be for business travellers, because all it really did was make the room feel small (which is really wasn't) and awkward.
