There’s better options

Liked: The location was good but a little bit noisy.
Disliked: This hotel was very average. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the rooms were alright. The shower was awful and there was no water in the rooms, you had to buy it from the shop at the reception which was very overly priced.

Liked: everything was good. it is old school. but i liked it a lot. friendly staff. breakfast was alright! good! location amazing. you can walk to the middle in minutes. lots of character. nice. very nice
Disliked: there was an event on in the square. completely beyond their control. think it was a one off. but a bit noisy. but ended by the time going to bed!

Nice hotel, competitively priced. Would...

Liked: The breakfast was very good. So much choice and kept well refreshed. The location was great. Close enough to the centre of Bruges, but not in the main hustle and bustle. The rooms were large and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and when we did have a problem with the first room we were assigned, they dealt with it well and quickly.
Disliked: Unfortunately our first rooms heating was not functioning correctly and the hotel was aware of this as they had already provided a small radiator for the room. After our 1st night we complained as it had been cold during the night. They moved us to another room (free upgrade) but the whole move could have been avoided if they hadn't put us in a room that wasn't fully functional in the first place.
